Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (India) was released in March 2020 with a 64MP sensor which is higher than its global version. The phone packs in a beefy Snapdragon 720G processor along with 64/128GB storage and 4/6GB of RAM. The device arrived with Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box.

Google is currently rolling out Android 11 developer preview 4. Google Pixels are the first to receive the upgrade followed by a few participating smartphones and then the rest those are eligible. Historically, Google announces its new Android OS in Q3 every year so Android 11 is expected during the same period as well.

Android 11 for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (India)

There’s no doubt Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro will receive Android 11 as it is highly compatible. However, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer hasn’t posted an Android 11 roadmap yet. This means it is difficult to estimate when the upgrade will arrive perhaps it will arrive only after Google releases the same in Q3 2020.
